So far our editing process has gone well: we have put together over a minute of footage and have used various tools on Final Cut Express to help us. One of our major challenges was created effective CCTV-looking footage, which we have put into black and white and included a flashing frame to create the most effective CCTV camera look.
Today we had to try and change one of our shots to look like it was CCTV: in order to do this we have had to change the shot to black and white and are in the process of adding the CCTV effect filter on Final Cut. We have tried to make the match on action as accurate as possible, and asked various people on their views
of the opening as we have edited it.
Today we asked 3 non media students so far of our progress, and received positive feedback: they understood what was happening and the sort of atmosphere we intended on creating.

Review Of Our Filming Day
On Saturday the 12th of January we filmed our opening sequence. It was a successful day, both of our actors were very co operative, as we tried to take as many shots as possible. During the day we made sure that all of the risks that could have happened on the day did not, however the lights did get very hot quite quickly.
We started to film all interior shots with Heather, who played the teenage girl at first, before going to film the shots of Nikolai in the car. We tried to make both characters' costumes correct, and made sure that we took some extra footage which we could edit to make a behind the scenes video. Overall our day was successful, and hopefully we took some successful shots which we will find useful when editing.

Costume Ideas
Whilst planning what our characters would look like, we decided on what clothing they should wear.
For the girl, we decided that typical, casual clothes that a teenage girl would wear would be appropriate.
For the male character, we decided on something along the lines of a parka, this would be able to disguise his face, and create a sense of enigma.
